I am a public relations major and so a lot of my classes deal with effective communicating. While classroom learning and textbook reading can be beneficial and helpful, seeing how what we learn relates to the real world is also valuable. Reading a blog that is dedicated to communications, as well as a specific post about effective communication is really encouraging.
