that guy has WAY too much time on his hands to make a video about such an optimization that perhaps .00001 % of the population actually cares about. Reminds me of the network news.
mis-pulled stickies are almost as annoying as those left on my monitor ("he won't miss it here") that tend to appear just as I have something important to do.
Clearly, Nate, you've never heard about Affinity Mapping. This is a *great* simple hack that I wish Dave would have taught us in his session at VizThink this year. [grin]
And for all this time I had curly post-it's on my bedroom/studio wall! Haha nate needs an MA in post-it theory by the sounds of it! Keep more of these 'tongue-in-cheek-funny-nerdy-but-at-the-same-time- stupidly-overlooked-useful-technique-vids' coming please
OK Dave! I emailed this link to Mark Lukas to point out that you've finally lost your mind. The next day I found my stickies behavior changing based upon this video. You win this round.
I love it. I was searching for a different Dave Gray sticky note post and found this one. The reason I was searching for the other post is that I am just posting about sticky notes, including the stress and frustration of 388 sticky notes raining down on a humid day!
Truly astounding. = )
