This movie is the most succinct explanation of power of visual thinking and communication in a business context that I have seen - ever. It's brilliant and you're very articulate in it! (both orally and visually!) I would like to share it, with your permission, with clients and on my blog because there are times when I work in this sphere too in NZ and need to explain the advantages of reaching the hearts and hands of an organisation - not just the heads. I sketch as I write copy for clients and describe our shared big idea. Sketching simultaneously says "Here's what this thing is about" and "What would you add, subtract or change?" The very act of sketching seems to invite focused dialogue in a very non-threatening way. Thanks for the video!
I've never seen anyone do live illustrations during an interview before, and I think that it worked brilliantly. As a film & audio editor, I might have tightened it up a little bit in post-production since there is some overhead between talking and drawing especially with the 2-3 camera shoot. But the drawings really took the concepts to another level of communication and make great connections between the head, heart & hands for the mind, emotions and practical take-aways. Very cool.
Hand sketch are used during teaching this gives an visual communication along with speech and body language in this way the students can follow the lesions well so demonstrators of lectures should be given through visual graphic and speech along with videos.
